Herald and News, Klamath Falls, Oregon, Saturday, August 1, 2015: Barnes, Cloyce Elby "Barney," 85, a memorial service in Conger-Morris Central Point Chapel, 800 Front St. in Central Point, at 11 a.m. Monday followed by military funeral honors at 1 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point.

Cloyce Elby Barnes "Barney", son of Jesse and Louise Barnes, loving husband of Sue Barnes, brother to Jerry Barnes, Reola Burrough and Vera Deloras Bourbanisse passed away July 22, 2015 at Asante Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, Ore. after a long battle with cancer. He was 85 years old. He is survived by his wife, Sue; son, Clifford F. Barnes of Asotin, Wash.; and daughter, Coreen Sue Reinke of Lake Havasu, Ariz. He is also survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Barnes worked as an electronics technician and a radar expert in the U.S. Air Force until his retirement in 1969, going on to continue his electronics career as a technician at Oregon Institute of Technology. He eventually became interested in the real estate field and became a successful realtor and broker. He also loved fishing, golf, and socializing with friends and family, where he liked to entertain everyone playing his keyboard. His larger than life personality and joy for life will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2015 at Conger-Morris Central Point Chapel, 800 South Front St., Central Point, Ore., followed by the rendering of Military Funeral Honors at 1:00 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery, 2763 Riley Rd. Eagle Point, Ore.
