On the 1930 U. S. Census of Elbe, Pierce Co., Washington, B. I. Robins appears with his wife Lula. B. I. is a timber inspector for a lumber company. He is 41, Lulu is 42. They were married when he was 31 and she was 32.
Unknown Tacoma newspaper, July 19, 1963: Benjamin Robbins, 75, of 115 N. Yakima Ave., died today in Tacoma. He was born in Minnesota and had lived here most of his life. He was a member of the Pilgrim Congregational Church, Mount Tahoma Lodge 190, T & AM, at Ashford, Ivanhoe Commandery Knight Templar, and Afifi Temple of the Shrine. He was a member of the 1909 Class of Stadium High School and attended the University of Washington. Surviving are his wife, Lulu B; and 13 nieces and nephews. Services will be announced by C. O. Lynn Co.
