Glenn D. Hays was born February 7, 1940 in Jackson County and departed this life Thursday, July 3, 2014 at his residence, being 74 years of age. He was the son of the late Roy G. & Hazel (Morris) Hays.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn (Lakes) Hays of Gray Hawk and by a daughter, Vicki (Hays) Gould and her husband Brad of New York, NY. He is also survived by the following siblings, Teddy Hays and his wife Martha of Gray Hawk, Bruce Hays and his wife Zella of Gray Hawk, Leo Hays and his wife Freda of Norwood, OH, Kenny Hays and his wife Pat of Gray Hawk, Sylvia Elliott of Winchester and Sheila Richardson and her husband Alan of Berea.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jackson County Cancer Fund, c/o Vivian Marcum or Pat Henderson. Masonic service 7pm Sunday at Lakes Funeral Home.Visitation: 12 Noon Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Lakes Funeral Home. Funeral: 2:00 PM Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Lakes Funeral Home. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Clay County, KY.
