From March 2000 until his death, Benny was a patient at Laguna Honda Hospital in San Francisco, California, for treatment of tuberculosis. He had TB when he was 3 years old and was treated. The TB came back in his last years. None of the family was notified when he died. A Christmas card to him was returned to us.
