She was a former nurse's aide at the Senior Citizens Nursing Home and a private convalescent caregiver. Surviving are four daughters, Paulette Defatte, Jannie Ashby, Connie Everly and Renee Spriggs; three sons, Willbur Jay, Paul L. and Wilbur M. Hayes; a sister, Margie Gray; and 19 grandchildren.Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville, with burial in Salem Cemetery in Mortons Gap. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
