Burial will be at 11:45 a.m. tomorrow at Riverside National Cemetery, staging area three. Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont is handling arrangements. He died Tuesday of lung cancer at Community Convalescent Center in Riverside. Mr. Brimmer, who was born in Upland, lived in Banning for five years after living in Riverside for 18 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a special resources teacher for 18 years, lastly for Banning Unified School District. He was a member of the San Gorgonio Masonic Lodge No. 668, Christian Educators Association, the White Shrine No. 70; and the Banning Teachers Association. He was a school board member for Cherry Valley Brethren School. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Toni Lorraine of Banning; son, Mark Thomas of Banning; one grandson; parents Thomas and Doris of Barstow; and brothers Vic of Rialto and Gary of Pocatello, Idaho. A memorial fund in his name has been established at Redlands Federal Bank, 3170 W. Ramsey St., Banning, 92220.
