Garrett, 70, a retired electrical inspector for the city of Spokane, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Ball and Dodd-Thornhill and Langbehn. Burial will follow at Greenwood. Mr. Garrett died Friday at a local hospital. Born in Waitsburg, he was a life-time area resident. He moved to Spokane as a youngster and attended North Central High School and Washing ton state University. Mr. Garrett had been employed by Maxwell-Franks Electric Co. and other area firms before joining the city as an electrical inspector in 1958. He retired in April 1975. He was a member of Electrical workers Local 73, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy A., at the home; two daughters, Mrs. Richard T. (Betty Jean) Steinbach, Canyon County, Calif., and Mrs. Gary L. (Eileen D.) Sheridan, Sitka, Alaska; five grandchildren.
