Burlington Daily Hawk Eye, Burlington, Iowa, Friday, May 24, 1935, Page 7, Col. 4: Willis Sater received a telegram Thursday announcing the death of Willis Blacker, who passed away at his home in Sanborn, N. D., Thursday at noon. Mr. Blacker was born Jan. 17, 1849, and lived in this vicinity until 1912 when he moved to North Dakota, where he has since made his home. He was well known to the older residents here and lived for many years on the farm west of town now belonging to George Miller.
