Cisco, Jan. 23 (RNS)---Final rites for Charles Edgar Aycock, 62, a resident of Cisco since 1896, were to be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the First Methodist Church. The Rev. E. H. Lighfoot, pastor, and the Rev. Ralph T. Wootton, First Baptist minister, were to officiate. Thomas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Aycock died in a Cisco hospital at 8:30 p.m. Monday after becoming seriously ill at his home at 5 a.m. the same day. He had operated the Cisco Granite and Marble Works for more than 30 years. He came to Cisco from Brownwood where he was born Feb. 25, 1888. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Aycock who operated the granite and marble works before it was taken over by Mr. Aycock. He was married to Etta Carmichael in Cisco Aug. 5, 1913. Survivors include his widow; one son, Frank Aycock of Cisco; a brother, John Aycock of Sweetwater; and two grandsons. Burial was to be in Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were to be Jeff Gregory, John Penn, Claude Wilson, Charles Spears, Jasper Qualls, Sterling Drumright, Gene Abbott and Howard Turner.
