Jerry is survived by his wife, Nell (Hays) Hacker of McKee and by three children, Rhonda Adkins and her husband Randy of Gray Hawk, Darrell Hacker and his wife Shannon of Prestonsburg and David Hays of Gray Hawk. He is also survived by a brother, Fred Hacker of Tyner and by two sisters, Sally Fields of Jackson Co and Jean Johnson of McKee. Jerry was blessed with six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Evailine Hacker; by a brother, Kenneth Hacker and by a sister Emma Sue Hacker.
Funeral service 2:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2018 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Thomas, Bro. Calvin Hays and Bro. Doug Mullins officiating. Burial to follow in the Jerry Hacker Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jason Metcalf, Randy Adkins, Tyler Cheak, Jonah Estridge, Wayne, Kenneth, Gary & Michael Hays. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
