The Cartersville American, Cartersville, Georgia, July 7, 1885, Page 3: Death of Mr. Aycock. On Thursday, July 2, Mr. Z. B. Aycock, of the Sixth District, died of cancer of the stomach, after a long and painful illness. Mr. Aycock was a gentleman well known in Bartow county. He was a brother of W L. Aycock formerly of Cassville, and now of Gadsden, Ala., also of John C. Aycock who died a few years ago at Adairsville, and of Mr. Frank M. Aycock now of Alabama. He was for many years a citizen of the Sixth, living near Cedar Creek, and was for a long time Justice of the Peace of that District. He was, for some days before his death, conscious of the approaching end, and expressed himself as fully prepared for death. He leaves a wife and two children who have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their sad bereavement.
