Wendling, 40, a resident of Park County for 16 years, died at 4:30 this morning at his home in Gardiner. The body was brought to the Franzen mortuary in Livingston, from where last rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Wendling was born February 10, 1911, in Dawson county, Nebraska, and received his education there. He moved to Powell, Wyoming, with his father in 1933 and in 1935 came to Gardiner. He had been employed at odd jobs in Gardiner for the last 15 years. Survivors include his father Harry A. Wendling of Gardiner, and two aunts in Nebraska.
