They made their home in Thrall and moved to Thorndale where he practiced until 1939 when they moved to Taylor. Member of Methodist Church for many years. Survivors: Husband, Dr. Kirkpatrick of Taylor; 2 daughters, Mrs. John James (Bobby) Hennen of Houston, Mrs. Robert F. (Katherine) Mitchell of Tuscaloosa, AL.; 2 sons, Dr. Roy H. Kirkpatrick of Taylor, Charles V. Kirkpatrick of Austin; 3 sisters, Mrs. Glenne Thompson of Taylor; Mrs. Ray (Mary) Ealy of Austin, Mrs. Ernest (Lucille) McCoy of Seymore; 3 brothers, Perry and C.L. Thomson, both of Austin; Vernon Thomson of Taylor.
