Interment was made in the Clinton-Garfield cemetery. Anna Christine Budolfson, daughter of Christian and Anna Marie Budolfson, was born in Tama county, Iowa, on April 22, 1877. She passed away at her home near Rolfe on April 9, 1945, at the age of 68 years, 11 months and 18 days. She moved with her family to Webster county when she was three years of age, then in 1889 they moved to Des Moines township where she lived most of the rest of her days.

She was united in marriage to Clarence A. Hosier at Rolfe, March 5, 1908. They came to the farm where they have been living north of town in 1920. She was a loyal member of the Methodist church of Rolfe. Her health has kept her at home the last few years, but her interest in the church was warm. Her faith in God has been her strength and comfort through the years. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Clarence Hosier; two brothers, B. C. Budolfson of Rolfe, and J. A. Budolfson of Westbrook, Minn.; one sister, Amelia Budolfson of Rolfe; several nephews and nieces and other relatives and many friends of long standing. She leaves a memory of goodness and sweetness, of joys shared and a home made rich and happy, of a lovely character loved and cherished by husband and family, and of a life invested in spiritual and eternal values.
