Born in McKee, Ky., she moved to the local area from Cincinnati, Ohio, 21 years ago. She was a retired owner of a beauty shop; and a member of Bayshore Baptist Church. She leaves her husband, William Hays; four sisters, Mrs. Kizzie Lakes, Mrs. Lula Hays, and Mrs. Cora Mahie, all of Brandenton, and Mrs. Lucy Roberts of Lexington, Ky.; and two brothers, Wiley Roberts of Louisville, Ky. and John Roberts of Loveland, Ohio. Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bayshore Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at the chapel with the Rev. Howard L. Arthur officiating. Burial will be in Manasota Memorial Park.
