He was born Aug. 23, 1896, in Lowell, the son of Joseph and Ella Marsh Kirkpatrick. May 23, 1923 he married Elsie Huffman in Kahoka, Mo. Mr. Kirkpatrick was in the general contracting business and was a member of Sunnyside Avenue Baptist church. He was a member of the Odd Fellows, DAV and Veterans of World War I. Surviving: The widow; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Ledbetter of Burlington; five grandchildren; a brother, Charles Kirkpatrick of Eugene, Ore.; and a sister, Mrs. William Ragsdale of Janesville. Services: Wednesday at 2 p.m., Prugh's Chapel, Rev. John Falconer; Memorial Park cemetery.
