Dubuque Telegraph Herald, Dubuque, Iowa, Monday, May 19, 1939, Page 10, Col. 8: Mrs. Mary Elliott, 68, a former resident of Dubuque, died Sunday morning at 1 o'clock at Milwaukee following a lingering illness. The body will arrive in Dubuque late Tuesday night and will be taken to the Haudenshield Funeral Home, 2170 Central Avenue where funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the Center Grove Methodist Cemetery. Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Leo McQuillin and Miss Zelma Elliott, both of Milwaukee; two sons, Theodore and John Elliott, both of Milwaukee; two brothers, Fred Timm, Oneida, Ia., and Charles Timm, North Dakota; one sister Mrs.. Joseph DeSotel, Indiana; and seven grandchildren. Her husband, Milton Elliott, preceded her in death Sept. 1, 1931.
