Kalispell Daily Inter Lake, Kalispell, Montana, Thursday, June 13, 1974, Page 2, Cols. 1 & 2: Mrs. Julia E. Gable, 78, passed away in Kalispell early Thursday morning. She was born July 27, 1895, at Williston, N. D., a daughter of Benjamin and Lucelia Herbert. She had received her early education in North Dakota, and as a young girl, moved to Stipek where she completed her education. On April 19, 1918, she was married to Joseph Frank Gable at Stipek. The couple had lived at Stipek until 1925, when they moved to Whitefish. Mrs. Gable was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1962, and is now survived by two sons, Frank of Whitefish and Ronnie Gable of Seattle, Wash.; four daughters, Alma Rous of Anchorage, Ala., Leona Martin of Post Falls, Idaho, Lorraine Padilla of Seattle and LuCelia Suszka of Seward, Alaska; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives. Graveside services at 1 p.m. Friday in Glacier Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family requests no flowers.
