Arkansas Gazette, Little Rock, Arkansas, Thursday April 16, 1981, Page 16: Auther [Arthur] Gerald Neal, Aged 63, of Little Rock, owner of Gerald Neal Piano Company, died Tuesday. He was a member of Markham Street Baptist Church. A retired Army major, he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and three Oak Leaf Cluster during World War II. He was a member of M. M. Ebert's American Legion Post 1. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. L. Jean Young Neal; two sons, William Jerry Neal and Kenneth W. Neal of Little Rock; a daughter, Mrs. Jo Ann Jernigan of Little Rock; a stepson Robert James Earle of Houston, Tex.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Carolyn J. Billingsley of Collegeville, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Drummond Funeral Home by Rev. Ray Branscum and Rev. Bob Wright. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
