Dallas Morning News, Dallas, Texas, Saturday, November 17, 1956, Section Part 3, Page 4: Oliver Bedford Kirkpatrick, 41, owner of the Crescent Card Company, a printing house at 2404 Hickory, died Friday at his home, 6033 Bryan Parkway. He had lived in Dallas most of his life and attended pubic schools here. He served in the Air Corps during World War II. He belonged to the First Presbyterian Church and was active in its Men's Bible Class. Kirkpatrick was a bachelor and is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles V. Kirkpatrick, who live at the same address, and a brother, Charles C. Kirkpatrick, also of Dallas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Weiland-Merritt Chapel, 2909 Live Oak. His pastor, Dr. John F. Anderson Jr., and associate pastor, Dr. Kerr Taylor, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Abe Carroll Jr., James H. Enochs, Howard Harris, Clyde Kimes, Marshall K. Lightfoot Jr., & Fred Moore.
