Stricken suddenly by an attack of acute indigestion while attending a family picnic at Electric Park, Mrs. Maude A. Castle, 66, died shortly after being taken to her home, 100 Wellington street, at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, before a physician could reach her bedside. She fainted and members of the family hurried to take her home. They said Monday Mrs. Castle had had previous light attacks of the same trouble. Mrs. Castle, who was a member of Gold Leaf camp, Royal Neighbors, had lived in Waterloo for 17 years, coming here from Wisconsin. Her husband Arthur C. Castle, died Dec. 23*, 1916. Maude E., daughter of Adelbert and Emeline Clason, was born and married on Christmas day. Her birth date was Dec. 25, 1866, at Beaver Dam, Wis. She was married to Mr. Castle there on Dec. 25, 1884. Surviving are two sons, Clyde A. Castle, 2000 Ansburough avenue, and Clarence J. Castle, Milwaukee, Wis., and a daughter, Mrs. Joseph B. Holker, 800 Wellington street. Six grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Klatner's chapel with burial in Elmwood cemetery. Rev. J. Richmond Morgan, pastor of First Congregational church will officiate.
