The Salina Journal, Salina, Kansas, Tuesday, March 12, 1996, Page 7, Col. 1: Anna Lucile Cooke, 90, Salina, died Sunday, March 10, 1996, at College Park Nursing Center, Salina. Mrs. Cooke was born Anna Lucile Ditto on Aug. 5, 1905, in Jewell County and was a long-time resident of Saline County. She had been a laundry supervisor for St. John's Hospital, Salina. She was a member of the University United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, both of Salina, and American Association of Retired Persons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Conrad, in 1980; a daughter Maxine Lucile Poe, in 1982; a grandson; and a great-great-grandson. Survivors include two sons, Joseph R. and Carl A., both of Salina; three daughters, Virginia B. Urbanek and Jane M. Krause, both of Tampa, Fla., and Joyce E. Massey of Wichita; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a. m. Wednesday at the University United Methodist Church, 1509 S. Santa Fe, the Rev. Robert Conway officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
