Employe[e] of M-K-T More Than 42 Years. Resident of Wichita Falls More Than Quarter of Century. Last rites for J. H. Ricks, veteran engineer on the M-K-T lines and resident of Wichita Falls for 25 years, will be held at the Tenth and Austin Church of Christ Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. the services will be conducted by Rev. L. S. White, pastor of the church and burial will be in Riverside cemetery under the direction of the Merkle Undertaking company. Mr. Ricks had been an employe[e] of the Katy system since he was 18 years of age and completed 42 years of service when he retired eight years ago.
Survivors are two sons, Joe K. Ricks and John T. Rich of Wichita Falls; four daughters, Mrs. Wiley Cox of Shawnee, Okla., Mrs. Clarence Aycock of Temple, Texas, Mrs. Kate Enloe and Miss Inda Ricks of Wichita Falls; a brother, Charles Ricks of Fort Worth; a sister, Mrs. Mollie Mead of Dallas; 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
