The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Tennessee, Thursday, October 6, 1994: BRUCE---J. D. Gregory, retired employee of City of Bruce maintenance department, died Tuesday of respiratory failure at Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Humboldt. Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home here with burial in Mt. Comfort Cemetery. Mr. Gregory, the widower of Jo Ann Gregory, leaves a son, Thomas Earl Gregory of Bruce; his mother, Mary E. Gregory; two sisters, Velma Gregory and Zelma Gregory, and a brother, Frank Gregory, all of Pontotoc. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
