From Obituary Book at Piedmont, Missouri, Uknown newspaper or date: Mrs. Nellie Kirkpatrick, Thursday, February 10, 1916. Aunt Nellie Kirkpatrick died at Greenville Friday morning. She was born 02nd Feb 1840, in 1856 she married Richard Cowan and had 2 children, J. D. of Hornersville and Mrs. Mary McCowan of Kime. Following the death of her 1st husband, she married 23rd April 1871 to Wallace Kirkpatrick and had one child, Mrs. Dorum Yates of Greenville. She was a member of the Baptist Church for 40 years, burial was in the Kirkpatrick Cemetery, services were by Rev. J. W. Duncan.
