Madison Wisconsin State Journal, Madison, Wisconsin, Saturday, October 17, 1987, Page 25, Col. 1: Montfort---Rich Kirkpatrick, age 22, died on Thursday evening October 15, 1987, at Memorial Hospital, in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, as the result, of injuries received in a car accident earlier that day. Rich was born on June 26, 1965, in Dodgeville, the son of Richard and Joan (Dochnahl) Kirkpatrick. He graduated from Iowa Grant High School in 1983, and was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church of Montfort. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Joan Kirkpatrick of Montfort; two sisters, Jana and Jodi, both residing with their mother; and a nephew, Cody. Rich was preceded in death by his father, Richard Kirkpatrick of May 14, 1984. Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church, in Montfort, at 11 a.m., on Monday, October 19, 1987. Burial will be in the Hillcrest cemetery in Montfort. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m., on Sunday, October 18, 1987. A scripture wake service will be held at 8 p.m., on Sunday, October 18, 19897, at the Soman Funeral Home, in Montfort.
