Obituaries at Ancestry.com: Mr. William Ralph Wadlington, 98, died Thursday, March 27 2014 at The Arbor in Ridgeland, Ms. There will be a visitation held Monday, March 31, 2014 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 31, 2014 at 1:00PM at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mr. William Ralph Wadlington was born on February 16, 1916 in Webster County. He was a resident of Sledge, Ms.; before moving to Jackson almost 50 years ago. He was a longtime member of 1st Baptist Church in Jackson. He enjoyed spending most of his time outside in his shop and working in his yard. Mr. Wadlington was a retired pharmaceuticals salesman's with USB Pharmaceutical Company and Revlon Pharmaceutical Company. He also served as an airplane mechanic during WWII with United States Air Force in North Africa and Italy with the 32nd Bomber Squadron. Mr. Wadlington was preceded in death by his wife; Lyda Wadlington of more than 53 years, his daughter; Libba Wadlington. He is survived by his two sons; William R. Wadlington of Madison and Tom Wadlington of Brandon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to 1st Baptist Church of Jackson, P. O.
