Survived by five children; Daniel Thomas (Cathy), retired Ford engineer of Oxford; Susan Jean (Dr. John) Schindler of Dallas, Texas; Donald John (Susan Lurie), professional musicians, of New York City; David Norman (Carol Ellen) realtor of Pontiac; Mary Elizabeth (Dr. Stephen) Hutchens, medical technologist, Racine Hospital of Racine, Wisconsin. Nine grandchildren, Daniel Allen (Jen) of Mason, MI; Dennis Andrew of Mason; Colin Robert of Oxford; John Schindler IV of Dallas, Texas; Diana Catherine of Pontiac; David Lawrence (Lisa Wall) of Oxford; Denise Carol McGeen of Pontiac; Martha Ann Hutchens of Racine, Wisconsin; and Laura Jean Hutchens of Racine, Wisconsin. Three great-grandchildren; Anthony Jason McGeen of Oxford; Gabriel Jacob McGeen of Pontiac and Brendan Michael McGeen of Oxford. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2003 at St. Mary's in the Hills Episcopal Church, Lake Orion, Michigan, where Jean and husband were oldest continuous parishioners since 1953; Celebrant The Reverend Christine Humphries (Pastor Chris). Luncheon following in undercroft of St. Mary's. The family will receive friends Sunday at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home with suggested visiting hours of 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to St. Mary's in the Hills would be appreciated.
