BIRTH: Patience Hilda, Felicity's sister, and mother of David Birley told
him in a taped interview on 5 Feb, 1993 that Felicity is three years
younger than Patience.
COMMENT: In a letter to Patience and Barry dated 16 Jan, 1990 Felicity
transmits a photocopy of a diary of her father, Hugh Salusbury Lloyd (see
HSLDIARY.DOC). She says of the diary: "The diary, which is practically
invisible in the original, has been photocopied for you and Patience and I
find it fascinating to dig into: the integrity of the masculine world of
that date, the vigorous style of writing, the dedication to the shooting
of animals that the world is now trying to preserve, the way of assisting
a man in great pain from wounds, all from a young man of 21".
