The following was taken from the Cheboygan Democrat newspaper Aug. 26, 1899. Melinda Galloway wife of (William James Galloway) both from Bert Lake Mi. received a telegram that her mother was very sick in Winnipeg Manitoba. When she arrived, her mother had got better. While she was there her sister Mrs. E. J. Dickson died in the hospital on the 11th of Sept.,1899. The above mentioned W. J . Galloway was my Gggrandfather brother (David Galloway's) son . This information was placed in this record by Albert L. Galloway Jr. on 5/29/ 2002.
