Immigrated to Canada with family; settled at Sterling, Alberta. 1935 moved to Picture Butte, Alberta to work on construction of the Canadian Sugar Factory. Worked th first campagne at the factory then went to work for Sundal and Green Lived on the Ober farm just east of the factory. 1941 returned to the factory as yard foreman till retirement in 1961. World War I veteran
