Carl Hobe

(January 2, 1810 - August, 1861)

Family came to the United States in Dec 1860. They spent 8 weeks on a sailing vessel, landing in New York, Ellis Island. All were ill with typhoid fever. Anna died almost as soon as they landed. She was buried at Ellis Island. The following spring they settled in Olmstad Ohio.
