Individual Details
Bryan LOVETT
(Abt 17 Jul 1887 - 28 Dec 1903)
As children Bryan and his younger brother Garrett, attended an industrial school in Tralee, Co. Kerry. An elder brother, Thomas, probably also went to the same school. Prior to Tralee the boys may have gone to the industrial school in Killarney, Co. Kerry. It is thought the reason the brothers were sent to an industrial school was because their father could not afford to keep them following the premature death of their mother.
Bryan was killed in an accident in a sand pit in Lissahane aged just 16.
