Individual Details
John BROWNE
(Abt 1820 - 21 Apr 1883)
Mulvihill researcher Tom Moloney tells me that at the time of Griffiths Valuation (about 1850), John held a 49-acre farm in Tullamore, Ballybunion, Co. Kerry, along with a one-third share in a 169-acre plot described as bog. In about 1860 his share in this bog plot increased to one half. Then, in about 1862, the Brown family gave up their holdings in Tullamore and moved to Ballyduhig where they occupied a 97-acre farm.
