We know of Katie's existence from the 1901 census where she is listed as a member of the household of her uncle Fr. Patrick O'Hara in Kilbride, Co. Roscommon. She is also listed with her uncle in the 1911 census. And at the time of the marriage of her cousin Katie O'Hara in November 1914 she was living at Four Mile House, Co. Roscommon, where Fr. Patrick was also living at the time. Perhaps Katie was his housekeeper.
