Johanna is described in her marriage notice in The Irish Independent of 11 May 1928 as the third daughter of Patrick and Sarah. However the information I have is that she was the fourth daughter. Perhaps either her sister Mary Ann or her sister Margaret had died young (although both were alive at the time of the death of their brother Jack in 1907) so Joan may actually have been the third surviving daughter.
