Catherine emigrated to Australia, arriving on 15 May 1899. Her siblings Annie and Timothy were already living in Queensland and Catherine settled there too. After her marriage in 1909 Catherine and her husband, Edward, lived in Georgetown, Queensland and by the 1940s the family were living in Auchenflower, Brisbane.
