Individual Details
Thomas (Tom) MULVIHILL
(21 Apr 1868 - 23 Mar 1906)
Tom became a priest. Following his ordination in Maynooth College in 1892 he went to Edinburgh where he ministered for about four years. Owing to failing health it was decided that New Zealand would offer a healthier climate in which to carry out his duties, and in 1896 he arrived in Auckland where he served at St. Patrick's Cathedal. Two years later he was appointed parish priest of Gisborne. Tom was only 38 years of age when he died.
