James Joseph O'CONNOR

James, a private in the South Canterbury Regiment in World War I, is remembered on the Lone Pine Memorial in the Lone Pine Cemetery in Turkey. The memorial commemorates the more than 4,900 Australian and New Zealander servicemen who died in the Anzac area prior to the climax of fighting in August 1915 and whose graves are unknown.
