Henrietta (Harriet) FITZELL
(Abt 21 Dec 1840 - 21 Nov 1932)
Harriet and James eloped (and Harriet's sister Bessie eloped with James's first cousin Daniel Finucane). The marriage was disapproved of as Harriet was Protestant and James Catholic, so much so that James and Harriet were evicted from their home (in Carhoonakineely?). They found a place to live in the townland of Doonard Lower where they raised their 14 children. Descendants of theirs still live in Doonard Lower. Harriet died at the age of 91.
