Individual Details
Francis (Frank) FINUCANE (caution: relationship to brother not verified)
(Abt 1806 - 26 Oct 1881)
When Frank emigrated to the United States, he changed his surname to Finnigan because of spelling and pronunciation difficulties the non-Irish had with the Finucane name.
From the 1880 census we know Frank was a police constable. He died aged 75 the following year, having accidentally shot himself.
Please note that I am not entirely sure Frank was a brother of John as listed here, although it appears they were closely related.
