Emma (Sr. Jerome) GORDON

Emma, who may also have been known as Emily, entered the convent in 1909, becoming Sr. Jerome. A member of the Sisters of Charity order, she worked in Dublin at Linden Convalescant Home and St. Vincent's Hospital.

According to the Irish Genealogy website, Sr. Jerome was born on 1 November 1881 but her headstone says 1882. She is buried in the same plot as her first cousin once removed Mother Francis Raphael (born Clare) Gordon.
