Although Mary was probably born in Patch, her address on her marriage record is Clounmacon, Listowel, Co. Kerry. This can be explained by the probability that her father purchased a farm in Clounmacon in 1910 from a Jeremiah Gallivan/Galvin from Clounmacon and Listowel. I think it likely the two Gallivan/Galvin families were related. In 1930 the property was given over to Michael, Mary's husband.
