Johanna (Josie) O'CONNOR

Josie emigrated to the United States in 1899 along with her first cousins, Anne and Nora Cronin. They all settled in San Francisco where Ellen, a sister of Anne and Nora, was already living.
Note: I have come across a birth date for Josie of 28 December 1875 along with a baptismal date of 30 Dec 1875 (Newtownsandes parish) which does not tie in with the birth date provided by the family of 3 January 1876. Given that baptismal dates in those days were more accurate indicators of birth dates than the birth dates provided by family members to registrars, it seems more likely that Josie was born in December 1875 rather than January 1876. Sponsors at the baptism were (what looks like on the parish register) John Connor and (what looks like) Catherine Thornton.
