Several public family trees on Ancestry tell us tthe following about Henry:
He was born in Liverpool and was a son of German-born and Jewish Henry Cohen. The younger Henry had a child, Esther, with Catherine Jones (I have not seen evidence of a marriage). Esther was born at 6 Highland Close, Glasgow on 15 August 1870, and around the late 1880s Henry emigrated to Canada, but without Catherine and Esther. In Canada he married Dublin-born Emily Higgins and had a family. Around the mid-1880s the family moved in Cincinnati, Ohio where they settled.
We do know that our Esther was born in Glasgow around 1870 and that her father's name was Henry but I have been unable to verify if the Henry and Catherine above were her parents.
