According to Brendan Wolfe in his 'Wolfe's History [publ. 2019], Thomas, who was born in Tralee workhouse, may have been the illegitimate son of our Maurice and a Mary Sullivan. The birth record gives the father's address as Abbeydorney, Co. Kerry. I have been unable to verify this information.
