Maria JONES

Maria was Adam's second wife, his first wife, Anne Havenor, having died in early 1867.

Maria's obituary in the Kerry Weekly Reporter of 24 August 1907 tells us that Maria "was a native of Ballymacelligott [very close to Kielduff, where we believe she was born] and was a sister of Mr. John Jones of Cockhill, Tarbert" [John had died just two months earlier]".

Maria died aged 64 from diabetes, from which she had been suffering for two years.
