Individual Details
(1856 - Dec 1939)
Charles and his wife, Mary, moved to England when their eldest child, James, was an infant. It is believed they had two more children in England before returning to Straid where Charles ran the Morrison family farm for a number of years. In 1902 Charles's brother James took over the farm and Charles, Mary and their now large family moved to Falkirk, Scotland. After Mary's death in 1934 Charles returned to his old family home in Straid where he lived with James's widow, Bridie. He later lived with his daughter Mary Ann who lived in Glen House, Straid.
