Birth

The civil record of Jeremiah's birth tells us he was born on 1 November 1865. According to his baptismal record, however, he was baptised on 31 October 1865. As baptismal records are usually more reliable that civil records, I am inclined to think he was born between 29 and 31 October 1865. His baptismal sponsors were Edmund McGrath and Bridget Treacy (probably Johanna's sister).The family's address of Kyle (shown on the baptismal record) appears to be a townland in Soloheadmore. I am assuming it either lies within the family's usual address of Milltown townland or is another name for Milltown.
