Individual Details
Catherine (Kathleen) RIORDAN
( - Abt 1760)
Unfortunately we have no further informataion on Kathleen or the Riordan family, although it is likely the Riordans were from the Athea area of Co. Limerick seeing that Kathleen's husband was from Athea and they raised a family there. In his book 'The Surnames of Ireland' [1985], Edward MacLysaght tells us the "numerous" Riordan sept surname "belongs exclusively to Munster".
